De Volle Waard is a design for an agricultural piece of land near the Biesbosch. It will be connected to the river, so when water levels rise, the land can be flooded. By planting edible water plants, the land will be transformed into a food swamp. The area will serve as a prototype location for further development. Research institutes and educational programs will utilize it, collaborating on integrating the qualities of a food forest into the area. Our design was selected to be presented at an exhibition by Rijkswaterstaat at the RDM Werf.
